At Least, One More Time

Hello all.....been a while since I posted anything on the blog or talked Oz and Jaynes stuff. As you can see, Oz and Jaynes are apparently on the verge of extinction.

To everyone who came to Bones in August and listened to WGOW 102.3 expecting for us to be there, I personally apologize. I was hit that Friday morning with some type of stomach virus. Through the many years of my life, I have never experienced anything quite like it. As anyone who knows me would tell you, I HATE cancelling shows. But, I really had no choice. I am reasonably certain that this problem was caused by food poisoning. As the problems began on Friday morning, they continued through the day and kept getting worse. Sparing you the graphic details, I stayed in the bed and the bathroom until Monday.

I knew that I had a cut-off time to call Jaynes in Chattanooga and let him know that I would not be coming. I don't remember calling him; I don't remember much of anything other than my legs being in the worst pain ever which was probably due to dehydration. According to my wife and my mother, I managed to call my father who called Jaynes for me. A few days later, my dad told me that I didn't know who I was or where I was, and that I was just babbling and not making sense. This would explain why I did not personally call Quake and Dr. B at Sportalk Radio, and Chad at T-Bones. In retrospect, I should have gone to the hospital.

Moving on, we are going to play at least one more show. It will be at T-Bones on Friday, December 14, 2007. This is the show that for years Jaynes and I have referred to as "The Christmas Show." It is also the night of the 1-AA championship (now referred to as the FCS, I think) at the stadium. It is always a ridiculously crazy show. Hope you can all come. I will be avoiding cheeseburgers at well-known fast food establishments to make sure I am there. Again, thanks to everyone who has, and continues to support us.
